In today’s world, education is not only a means of individual growth but also a fundamental pillar of sustainable development and social progress. For developing countries, achieving sustainable growth, improving the quality of life, and overcoming economic, cultural, and political challenges largely depend on establishing an effective and inclusive educational system. Afghanistan, a nation that has endured decades of war, inequality, and poverty, is in greater need than ever of rebuilding and strengthening its educational infrastructure. In this context, education represents the key to unlocking the doors of development.
Globally, artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly emerging as a central component of modern education. Countries with advanced infrastructure leverage AI to improve educational quality, reduce inequality, and enhance the efficiency of their educational systems. Given Afghanistan’s unique challenges, integrating AI into its education system—particularly within the field of distance learning—has the potential to bring about transformative change. Such innovation could not only enable inclusive education during times of crisis but also help bridge educational gaps between urban and rural areas, genders, and diverse social groups.
This study explores the significance and impact of artificial intelligence in the context of education and distance learning in Afghanistan. Data collection is qualitative, based on a review of scholarly articles, books, official documents, and other credible resources.

در دنیای امروز، تعلیم و تربیه نه تنها وسیلهای برای رشد فردی است، بلکه یکی از ارکان اساسی توسعهٔ پایدار و پیشرفت اجتماعی به شمار میرود. برای کشورهای در حال توسعه، دستیابی به رشد پایدار، بهبود کیفیت زندگی، و غلبه بر چالشهای اقتصادی، فرهنگی و سیاسی، تا حد زیادی به ایجاد یک نظام آموزشی مؤثر و فراگیر وابسته است. افغانستان، کشوری که دههها جنگ، نابرابری و فقر را تجربه کرده است، بیش از هر زمان دیگر به بازسازی و تقویت زیربنای آموزشی خود نیاز دارد. در چنین زمینهای، تعلیم و تربیه کلید اصلی گشودن دروازههای توسعه محسوب میشود.
در سطح جهانی، هوش مصنوعی (AI) به سرعت به عنوان یکی از عناصر اساسی تعلیم و تربیهٔ مدرن در حال ظهور است. کشورهایی که از زیربنای پیشرفته برخوردارند، از هوش مصنوعی برای بهبود کیفیت آموزش، کاهش نابرابریها و افزایش کارایی نظام آموزشی خود بهره میگیرند. با در نظر گرفتن چالشهای خاص افغانستان، ادغام هوش مصنوعی در نظام آموزشی کشور — به ویژه در عرصهٔ آموزش از راه دور — میتواند تغییرات بنیادینی را به همراه داشته باشد. چنین نوآوری نه تنها میتواند آموزش فراگیر را در زمانهای بحران ممکن سازد، بلکه به پر کردن شکافهای آموزشی میان مناطق شهری و روستایی، میان جنسیتها و گروههای اجتماعی مختلف نیز کمک خواهد کرد.
این پژوهش به بررسی اهمیت و تأثیر هوش مصنوعی در زمینهٔ تعلیم و تربیه و آموزش از راه دور در افغانستان میپردازد. گردآوری دادهها به صورت کیفی انجام شده و مبتنی بر مرور مقالات علمی، کتابها، اسناد رسمی و سایر منابع معتبر است.
