Abstract
This research paper studies the impact of intergroup relationships on the academic performance of Afghan girls who are studying at Asian University for women. Firstly, the paper reviews other research papers asking similar questions about how intergroup relationships impact different factors in students’ academic success including academic performance and social identity. The result of this study suggests that having stronger intergroup relationships have a positive impact on a student’s academic performance. In other words, this study proves that having close relationships with friends helps young Afghan girls have higher GPAs and be more involved in extracurricular activities. In addition, it was proven by this study that having a larger network of friends leads to better class attendance among Afghan girls in the Asian University for Women.

چکیده
این مقاله پژوهشی به بررسی تاثیر روابط بین گروهی بر عملکرد تحصیلی دختران افغانی که در دانشگاه آسیایی برای زنان تحصیل می کنند، می باشد. اولا، این مقاله سایر مقالات تحقیقاتی را بررسی می کند که سوالات مشابهی را در مورد چگونگی تاثیر روابط بین گروهی بر عوامل مختلف در موفقیت تحصیلی دانش آموزان از جمله عملکرد تحصیلی و هویت اجتماعی مطرح می کند. نتایج این مطالعه نشان می دهد که داشتن روابط بین گروهی قوی تر تاثیر مثبتی بر عملکرد تحصیلی دانش آموزان دارد. به عبارت دیگر، این مطالعه ثابت می کند که داشتن رابطه نزدیک با دوستان به دختران جوان افغان کمک می کند تا GPA های بالاتری داشته باشند و بیشتر در فعالیت های فوق برنامه شرکت کنند. همچنان داده های این تحقیق حاکی از این است که داشتن روابط دوستانه گسترده باعث میشود دانشجوها به صورت منظم تر در صنف درسی خود حاضر شوند.
